The 5 Days of Gratitude Series

This Christmas series, is now available for you to practice year round! Anytime you need a reminder to be thankful for the gift of Christ, why not give this 5 video series a shot? I hope that God will speak to you through it, and that you will be refreshed and overflowing with thankfulness!

Gratitude: Day 1

Psalm 118:24
"This is the day that the Lord has made

let us rejoice and be glad in it."

Our flow for today will be a slow flow class that focuses on embracing the day we have been given, and moving through our day with gratitude for all that we have! How can you use your practice today and your life off the mat as a way to express gratitude?

Gratitude: Day 2

"An Alleluia Heart"
Gratitude is not only the posture of praise but it is also the basic element of real belief in God. When we bow our heads in gratitude, we acknowledge that the works of God are good. We recognize that we cannot, of ourselves, save ourselves. We proclaim that our existence and all its goods come not from our own devices but are part of the words of God. Gratitude is the alleluia to existence, the praise that thunders through the universe as tribute to the ongoing presence of God with us even now."
- Joan Chittister

Our flow for today will be a nice, slow stretch class to help open up tight hips and hamstrings. As we flow today, I want you to focus on why having a grateful heart is so important for our daily lives. How can you be more intentional about using your gratitude as a form of worship?

Gratitude Day 3

Psalm 136: 1-3
"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever.

Give thanks to the God of gods,
for his steadfast love endures forever.

Give thanks to the Lord of lords,
for his steadfast love endures forever;"

Our flow for today will be a vinyasa flow class that focuses on matching our breath with our movement. Even our breath can be an act of worship if our intention is focused on thanking God for the life that we have been given. How can you use the small details of your day as a way to worship?

Gratitude Day 4

Colossians 2: 6-7
"Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving."

Today we will be focusing on how we can use our body to root us into the truth of God's word. Once we are rooted in this truth, we can express gratitude for the gift of His love and grace. Allow your practice today to connect you to the love that God is offering you. How can you in turn share this love with others?

Gratitude Day 5

Hebrews 12:28
"Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe."

In today's class we will focus on the core, and standing strong in the truth of who God is and who we are. Use your movements today as an expression of gratitude for the strength that you have been given. How can you use God's strength, that is at work within you, to love and serve the people around you?
